El Colombiano Powdered Herbal Tea YPAC

 

Antebellum  Colombian Style powdered tea is based on a single leaf variety. We use Yungas leaves to create a sweeter flavor in the final product. This product is bright green  in color, it does not contain the dark ashes of the traditional ypa ( El Gringo)  and the ypa extra Strength ( Le Noir) or even the bitterness of the Maximiliano Tea. Andean Leaves have been slowly roasted and we do not ferment them for alkaloids extraction, they go to a extra dehydration  process that can take 2-3 days and the final product gets milled in a super fine -smooth powder, light to the touch and almost velvety. It contains and ash-yarumo from the cecropia tree (Cecropia sciadophylla or Cecropia peltata) which gives a smooth lemony and sweet flavor and other potent ingredients that provide electrolytes to the mix to make it easier to absorb and enjoy. This tea contains 90% of Andean leaves, 2% Yarumo and 8% of activators and alkaloid from the herbs which remain as trade secrets. No chemicals, preservatives or artificial products used on any step of the preparation.

Ypac is not meant to be chewed. Start taking 1/4 – 1/2 measuring gold tea spoon ( available at shop) of Ypac to the mouth (about 1-2 grams), without swallowing it. The Ypac powder is placed between the gum and cheek like traditional leaves and moistened with saliva and gently sucked. Do not chew or crush the bolus, just keep it wet enough while it dissolves for 10 – 15 minutes. You can increase the intake over time, but a small amount is recommended as starting point to get your body used to improve the absorption gradually.
